DESCRIPTION OF WORK--The work includes furnishing of all necessary labor, material, and equipment to provide for excavation; disposal; recycling of existing perimeter road pavement and base course; installation in same location, unless noted on drawings; new subbase; base; asphaltic pavement; pavement markings; reinforced concrete ramp; wheel stops; and incidental related work complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is between $250,000 and $500,000.--Firm Fixed Price Contract.--Contract duration is 160 calendar days.--Bids will be considered from all responsible sources.--This project is unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1771 and the annual size standard is $7 million.--It is recommended the subcontracting plan goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business subcontracting effort.--NOTE: Plans and specs will not be mailed to firms within a 20 mile radius of the issuing office. A fee will be charged for all plans and specs.
