DESCRIPTION OF WORK--The work includes the installation of new deep anode groundbeds, shallow distributed anode groundbeds, and cathode cables to replace depleted anodes and damaged cathode cables for the cathodic protection systems associated with the bulk fuel storage and distribution system. These installations shall reuse existing rectifiers at two locations and will require the removal and replacement of one rectifier at one locations. Also required is the installation of cathodic protection test stations, anode junction boxes, and incidental related work complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is between $100,000 and $250,000.--Firm Fixed Price Contract.--Contract duration is 90 calendar days.--Bids will be considered from all responsible sources.--This project is unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1542 and the annual size standard is $17 million.--It is recommended the subcontracting plan goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business subcontracting effort.--NOTE: Plans and specs will not be mailed to firms within a 20 mile radius of the issuing office. A fee will be charged for all plans and specs.
