This procurement is UNRESTRICTED. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1542, general contractors - non-residential buildings, other than industrial buildings and warehouses. The work includes the repair and rehabilitation of Wing 4 at Bancroft Hall, including the removal of hazardous materials, interior demolition including mechanical and electrical systems, the removal of existing aluminum windows, and the removal of existing slate roof and copper roofs and mechanical penthouse; new work includes interior partitions and finishes, dormitory casework, ceilings, squash courts, windows, exterior stone cleaning and repair, slate and copper roofs, and mechanical and electrical equipment, copper-clad mechanical penthouse; and incidental related work. Competitive negotiation procedures will apply. Contractors will be required to submit technical and cost proposals. The following technical criteria will be required: (1) Relevant Experience/Past Performance; (2) Schedule Management & Control; (3) Corporate Management; and (4) Selected Subcontractors.
