Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Sienna Imaging Inc., Northbrook IL for a DIGITAL IMAGER. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F33601-96-T-9799 is a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-41. There is one line item for a digital imager. The required digital imager, catalog number RP2400, produces photographic images from digital output image files. It is a high speed (100 prints per hour), high quality, 100% photograph imager producing archive safe prints that won't smudge or fade. Capable of printing to photographic paper and transparency film directly from out existing images network system. The imager can print to various widths of material up to 8.5'' wide. Included is a roll feed dispenser and take up cartridge. Date of delivery is 90 days after receipt of order; place of delivery and acceptance is Wright-Patterson AFB OH. FOB Destination.
