The U.S. Army Armament Research, Development, and Engineering Center is seeking qualified firms who can produce the XM234/XM235 Self Destruct Fuze. This effort is in support of both the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) and the XM915/XM916 DPICM Cartridge production schedules for FY97. A firm must demonstrate capabilities of producing 190,000 Self Destruct Fuzes per month on a 1-8-5 shift basis, with a design that meets all SD fuze performance and safety requirements. The firm must demonstrate their capability to meet required delivery schedules, and provide the necessary special tooling and equipment, as well as facilitization.
