Competitive Indefinite Delivery Contract for Services to Perform
Geographic Information System (GIS), Remote Sensing, Document
Management and Other Spatial and Information Management-Related
Services. Delivery Orders will be issued under the contract with a
cumulative amount of not to exceed $1,500,000.00 ($300,000.00 Basic and
4 Option Years). The firm applying shall have a working knowledge of
the software packages Arc/Info and all supported modules, ArcView and
all supported modules, and ERDAS and all supported modules, as well as,
AML, Avenue, SML, Visual Basic and HTML programming. Require a firm
with personnel that has a a certified Arc/View instructor and a
certified Avenue instructor. Experience with ArcView Avenue extensions,
Arc/Info Librarian and interface development integrating documents,
images and vector coverages required. The firm shall have excellent
writing and communication skills with experience in developing training
and instructional materials. All work will be documented as required by
each delivery order. Experience with Federal Meta Data Standards
required. The firm shall have a working knowledge of DOS, Windows 3.X,
Windows 95, Windows NT and UNIX Solaris platforms. Other duties may
include creating applications/interfaces to access and manipulate other
Corps of Engineers (COE) databases (ORACLE, INFORMIX), as well as,
creating applications for COE missions such as flood modeling or soil
erosion. The COE will provide hardware, software, utilities and office
space. RFP to be issued on or about December 12, 1996 with a proposal
due date on or about January 22, 1997. All requests for solicitation
packages should be made in writing or by FAX no later than 14 days
prior to proposal due date and must reference RFP No. DACW45-96-R-0051.
After such time, packages will be furnished if supply is available. It
has been determined that the number of sets be limited to one (1) per
