Dadiz (718) 553-3088 Contracting Officer The Federal Aviation Administration is looking for contractors who are qualified to do construction of an Airport Surface Detection Equipment (ASDE-3) Radar on the existing Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) at Andrews Air Force Base, Camp Springs, Maryland. The estimated procurement is between $200,000.00 and $350,000.00. The work requirements are the following: A. Construction Phase One (90 calendar days) 1. Submission of construction schedule and submittals. 2. FAA review and approval of submittals. 3. Fabrication of new superstructure including bracing, anchor plates, etc. 4. Ordering/acquisition of materials required for construction. B. Construction Phase Two (90 calendar days) 1. Removal and disposal of asbestos caulking. 2. Removal and disposal of existing ASDE-2 Equipment (Radome, antenna, pedestal, motor, conduits, etc). 3.
