Zeeb Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48106-1346 for MULTI-ACCESS CD-ROM Search System for General Periodicals Ondisc (GPO) and the IEEE/IEE Ondisc (IPO) used extensively by patent examiners. This subscription provides the CD-ROM's necessary for examiners to search IEEE/IEE journal data base products offline and provides full text articles of non-patent literature. The CD-ROM's provided by this subscription are part of the UMI Powerpages system that is operating in the PTO's Electronic Information Center (EIC). UMI is the only responsible source and no other parties are able to provide this CD-ROM subscription. This sole source simplified acquisition will be conducted under the authority of 41 USC 253(c)(1). The PTO will issue a Request For Quotes 15 days from the date of publication of this synopsis and intends to issue a purchase order to UMI within 20 days from the date of publication of this synopsis.
