The Government has a requirement for long term temporary residential care and secure detention of undocumented aliens who are being detained pursuant to violations of the Immigration Laws of the U.S. The successful contractor shall provide a suitable facility capable of housing 150 adult male and 35 adult female detainees. Many of the aliens being detained may have substantial and varied criminal histories. Contractor's facility must be located within the city limits of Laredo, Texas. The successful contractor shall provide all necessary management, labor, supervision, equipment and material in order to provide, operate and maintain the facility, and provide the required services for the detainees. As a result of this solicitation, it is intended to award a requirements contract for an initial period of one (1) year with four (4) - one year option periods, which if exercised, could extend the performance period to a total of five (5) years. All acceptable offers received will be evaluated based upon technical proposals and the total costs for the initial one (1) year period plus the four (4) option periods.
