Vessel length is 180 Foot ''S'' Class Sea Going Buoy Tender. Vessel availability schedule is 03 Mar 1997 for (35) days. The place of performance for this vessel is not geographically restricted. There will be a non-refundable charge of $100.00 required in the form of a certified check or money order payable to the U. S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. The proposed contract listed here is a part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Plans and specifications will be issued on or after 18 Dec 96. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates up to $500,000 per contract to provide accounts receivable financing. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $500,000 per contract. DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses.
