Z -- PROVIDE RELOCATABLE MODULAR BUILDING, CHAMBLEE CAMPUS, ATLANTA, GA SOL 97-29 DUE 011697 POC Leroy King, Contract Specialist, (404) 842-6553 Furnish all necessary tools, labor, materials, equipment and transportation to provide and install two (2) 18.3 meter x 4.27 meter, single story, modular building units, assembled as one building on the CDC Chamblee Campus. The building units are connected along their long side in the field and shall be provided with all required flashings and cover plates to provide a weather tight assembly. The units shall be designed, manufactured, transported and set-up on site and set in operation as a turn-key installation. All required site work shall also be provided under this contract. The building shall meet or exceed standards for 1994 Standard Building Code, Type V Construction. The building must meet all applicable Federal, State and Local codes. The unit shall be fully assembled and finished to the greatest extent possible when delivered to the site. The individual units shall have, as a minimum, a life expectancy of ten (10) years. The building units shall be capable of relocation without destruction of building components, other than cutting or uncoupling of utilities and removing building tie downs and flashings. The relocation capability does not include moving any site work such as foundations, walks or utilities. The floor structure shall be integral with each building unit. The building shall be complete with the exception of Government provided fixed casework and loose furniture and equipment not indicated in the contract documents. The Government provided fixed casework is to be installed by the contractor on site. Hook-up of some Government provided equipment will be included in this contract. The Air Conditioning System shall be 100% outside air and exhausted directly to the outdoors (no recirculation/one pass) at a minimum 10 air changes per hour. The system is to be packaged roof mounted with natural gas heat and/or preheat and DX cooling. The system shall include provisions for summer time humidity control. The estimated cost range of this requirement is between $250,000 and $500,000 and is UNRESTRICTED. Solicitation (IFB) 97-29 will be available on or about 12/17/96.
