The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services required to relocate the BMEU at the Philadelphia, PA P&DC Truck Terminal Annex. The work shall include, but not be limited to, demolition, relocating break area, new walls and partitions, electrical and mechanical work, architectural finishes for retail/store area (in accordance with US Postal Service standards), new entrance, handicap lift, front doors, holes in concrete for windows, re-routing pedestrian traffic, stripping parking lot, cabinetry, and installation of U. S Postal Service provided equipment. Also included is the removal of fixed mechanization, relocating the drop holes, patching and reconnections. Contractor must be experienced in retail areas and carpentry and must have successfully completed at least three (3) projects of similar size and scope within the last five (5) years. The estimated cost range is between $700,000 and $950,000 with completion within 220 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The cost of the plans and specifications for the above project is $75 per set, non-refundable.
