The Government intends to award a contract sole source to Applied Signal Technology, Inc. The contractor shall provide for AST designed, developed and produced equipment, including but not limited to, the Model 208, Model 320/320A, Model 113A and the Model 330 in the customers systems. The contractor shall provide technical, hardware and software support. Technical support shall include providing advice for achieving Government goals and objectives, installing and testing equipment, conducting formal and informal training and providing maintenance assistance for both hardware and software equipment. Hardware support shall include providing repair and return service and testing support services and components on an "as needed" basis. These services shall be for Government owned equipment on any system, assembly or subassembly containing AST products. Software support shall include modifying software that is not operating properly or requires enhancements as described by the Government. Software to be supported shall include all application software and firmware in AST equipment. Support shall also be provided to modify any AST system, unit, component, etc., to perform specific functions as directed by the Government. This shall include, but not be limited to, the processing software, the man machine interface software, and the software which controls the functions of the system. The contractor shall perform regression testing on all software to ensure that effected changes function properly and do not induce other problems onto the existing unchanged software. Contracts Data Requirements List (CDRL) and a detailed Statement of Work (SOW), are available upon request. Note 22 applies, however, all offers received within 15 days (in lieu of 45 days) after date of publication of original synopsis will be considered by the Government. The applicable Standard Industrial Code (SIC) and Size Standard is 7378 -- $18.0. No RFQ will be prepared or made available for distribution. Award will be based on evaluation of responsive, responsible quotations received in response to this CBD advertisement. Competitive awards may be based on the evaluation criteria stipulated in NRaD Blue Ribbon Vendor Program (BRVP) provisions or the Red, Yellow, Green (RYG) Contractor Evaluation System.
