The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a need to acquire maintanance services for an existing PBX telephone system (ROLM CBX-II 8000) originally installed in 1987. The system consist of: 364 ports in use made up of Analog Trucks (Incoming only, Outgoing only, and Combination trucks), DID trucks, FTS trucks, analog stations, and attendant console stations. Telephone instruments are a combination of ROLM phones models 400s, 240s, and 120s. There are also 2500-type Flash phones and one (1) Attendant Console. The System also has a Call Detail Recording System; Battery Reserve Backup System; and a ROLM Phone Mail System and printer. The system is located in San Antonio, Texas. Period of performance is from award date with option to extend the service one (1) additional year contingent on availabilty of funds for Fiscal Year 1998. The maintenance service will begin June 18, 1997 or as soon as the successful bidder has received proper security clearance, which ever is later. A walk-through of the site will be scheduled. This requirement will be processed in accordance with the Simplified. Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The standard Industrial Classified Code is 1731. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which, if timely received, shall be considered by this agency.
