The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for an inertial measurement unit (IMU), 3 each for integration into a space vehicle. The IMUs shall provide three axis rate sensing and three axis acceleration sensing capability. The IMUs will interface with an Interim Control Module (ICM) flight computer. The units will be used to determine the vehicle attitude between star sensor updates. All calibration and compensation required to meet performance requirements will be performed in the unit. Detailed specifications will be provided in the solicitation. The required delivery of all items is 214 days after contract award date. The solicitation will close 30 days after the solicitation issuance date. Telephone request for this solicitation will not be honored.
