The Bureau of Reclamation is interested in locating sources capable of furnishing and installing an automated parking payment system at the Hoover Dam Visitor Center parking structure and outlying parking lots. There is no solicitation available at this time. The system shall be non-gated, permitting open access to the parking facilities, and capable of handling a minimum of six-hundred vehicles. The system shall incorporate the following general characteristics: 1) computer-controlled, locally or via modem, and capable of being networked and modified by an on-site PC compatible computer, 2) capable of producing enforcement reports for paid or unpaid parking spaces, 3) capable of providing audit reports for total coins and bills, tickets sold, and for each transaction and/or service procedure, 4) operable within an ambient temperature range of 25 degrees Fahrenheit to 130 degrees Fahrenheit, 5) the external casing/cabinets for ticket stations, change dispenser stations and any other stations accessibleto the public, shall be constructed of ten gauge steel, minimum, with vulnerable areas reinforced with 1/2-inch steel, 6) cases/cabinets shall contain positive-latching double-locking-bar high security lock systems. The parking facilities are located at Hoover Dam, approximately 7 miles northeast of Boulder City, Nevada.
