The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to negotiate a sole source bridge extension with Hughes Aircraft Company for FY97 AN/UYQ-21(V) unmanned Navy Display System equipment with options for FY98, FY99 and Spanish foreign military sales requirements. This procurement includes miscellaneous unmanned equipment, ancillary equipment, spare and repair parts, installation kits, technical manuals, technical data and design agent support, and production sustaining engineering support. This extension will allow for continued ordering of Q-21 unmanned equipment until such time as equipment is available for ordering under the competitive AN/UYQ-70 Advanced Display Systems Contract (Solicitation N00024-97-R-5225).
