Nonpersonal services to furnish all labor, parts, tools, and transportation necessary to install government furnished carpet tiles in MOD 10 and MOD 16 of BLDG 400, Falcon AFB, CO. To allow for carpet removal and installation, contractor shall lift/ raise modular systems furniture, remove existing glued down carpet tiles, clean floor and install new glue down Gov't furnished carpet tiles. Contractor shall use adhesives recommended by the manufacturer for computer flooring. Gov't technicians will be available to monitor the systems furniture lifting. Existing rubber cove base shall be left in place or reused after carpet replacement. Project shall be accomplished in increments not to exceed %15 of total work area. Only one MOD shall be worked on at a time. work started in each increment shall be completed in the same work day. Contractor shall be responsible for all clean-up and disposal of demolished carpet and other debris off of Falcon AFB . Area of removal/replacement is 1760 square yards. Security escorts shall be provided by the contractor. The site visit scheduled on 12 Mar 97 is highly recommended. Period of performance: 1 Apr 97- 30 Jun. 97.
