D -- SUPPORT SERVICES FOR ADVANCED COMMAND POST/VIDEO TELECONFERENCING SYSTEM DUE 022897 POC Julia Wertly, Contract Specialist, 011-49-611-816-2226/ Linda Carsey, Contracting Officer, 011-49-611-816-2217 V Corps is seeking interested sources capable of providing support for the Advanced Command Post (ACP) which is a one of a kind video teleconferencing system. The ACP is currently being used in support of Operation Joint Endeavor/Guard at locations throughout the European Theater. Services to be provided would include engineering support, maintenance and repair, exercise support planning and operator training. The system is mainly comprised of commercial-off-the-shelf computer components, some of which are no longer manufactured. Sources should have technical expertise in the operation of multiplexer, computer network control, communication interface control, satellite communications, video teleconferencing operation, picture tel hardware and software configuration, commercial and military network operations. Sources should have experience working with encryption devices and possess or have the ability to obtain secret clearance. Maintenance and repair of equipment will be required on a 24 hour-a-day basis, and will normally be completed on-site. Exercise support planning will involve efforts related to coordination and execution of support ofor all V Corps exercises to ensure full communications support for tactical military, fixed-site and commercial systems. Interested firms should provide a capabilities statement which clearly outlines technical and management experience in the area of video teleconferencing support.
