F -- ROAD SHOULDER EROSION CONTROL, HYDROSEEDING ORIENTAL VILLAGE ROAD, PLEASANT MILL ROAD, SEGMENT OF DESTINY TRAIL, VEGHEL RD, & WEST END OF DESTINY TRAIL BETWEEN PALMYRA & INDIAN MOUND RDS SOL DAKF23-97-B-0009 DUE 032097 POC Contract Specialist Debbie Rapp (502) 798-9298 (Site Code DAKF23) Shall provide all resources and management necessary to hydroseed road shoulders along Oriental Village Road, Pleasant Mill Road, a section of Destiny Trail from Palmyra Road to Oriental Village Road,, Veghel Road and a segment of Destiny Trail between Palmyra and Indian Mound Roads. Seed will be applied at a rate of 45 lbs per acre. The seed mixture shall be Korean Lespedeza 10%, White clover, Inoculated 8%, and KY 31 Fescue, Fungus Free 82%. Granular fertilizer shall be used at a rate of 500 lbs per acre with a guaranteed analysis of 6-12-12. Mulch shall be cellulose based and shall be applied at the maximum rate per manufacturers recommendations. Apply a biodegradable tachifier (Agri-Tach) at a rate of 100 lb per acre. Contractor shall mix the appropriate seed, water, fertilizer, and hydromulch materials in Hydroseeding Tank and apply seed, fertilizer, and mulch. Bulk water facilities are available but must provide piping to connect with standard fire hydrant plug. The period of performance is 30 calendar days. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business. For the purpose of determining Small Business size, SIC 0721, for this acquisition the average annual receipt of a concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years must not exceed $5 million.
