PRESOLICITATION NOTICE -- The work includes the repair and replacement of Motor COntrol Center, Automatic Transfer Switch and electrical distribution boards and incidental related work at Building 560, Naval Comand, Control and Ocean Surveillance Center (NCCOSC), RDT&E Division, San Diego, California. The work includes removing or altering existing work in such a manner as to prevent injury or damage to any portions of the existing work which remains; repairing or replacing portions of existing work which have been altered during construction operations to match existing or adjoining work, as approved by the Contracting Officer. At the completion of operations, existing work shall be in a condition equal to or better than that which existed before new work started. -- The estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. -- Firm Fixed Price Contract. -- COntract duration is approximately 120 calendar days. -- This proposed contract will be unrestricted. -- The Standard Industrial COde (SIC) is 1731 and the annual size standard is $7.0 million. It is recomended the subcontracting goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting effort.
