The following description is provided again as previously stated: FISC Norfolk Det Washington has a requirement for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard Detachment (Plant Equipment Support Office) to procure a 5 stage, high pressure air compressor system (with dehydrator) capable of providing 5000 PSI air at a volume of not less than 38 CFH at discharge (approximately 220 CFM) at a dewpoint of minus 80 degree F at pressure. The air compressor system will be used to provide high pressure dry air to ships and submarines while at pier side or in dry dock at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard located in Pearl Harbor, HI. Delivery is 180 days after contract award. Place of delivery is Receiving Officer, Military Ocean Terminal Bay Area, Oakland Army Base, Oakland, CA, marked for transhipment to U.S. Naval Shipyard, Pearl Harbor, HI.
