HQ AMC/DOJC is seeking contractors that have existing Government contracts in place than can be utilized by our command to perform the following: In an effort to modernize its airlift transportation management system, the United States Air Force, is in search of a systems development team to build a business decision modeling system capable of displaying the results of real-time sensitivity analysis with potential capability to provide graphical interface and sophisticated forecasting. Time is critical: Full scale implementation must be achieved NLT 1 Oct 97. Variables to be included in the model will range from aircraft types and schedules to load configuration and rate structures. This system should utilize commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) technology to the fullest extent possible. It should not be so large that modern personal computers (laptops and desktops) have difficulty in running the analysis. This model must be compatible with Windows 95 and MS Office and employ open database connectivity (ODBC). While there is great potential for complexity, the development team will be chartered to mitigate it as much as possible.
