HUD intends to award a contract to provide repair specification and cost estimates for HUD-owned Single Family properties which are located in the following geographic areas and within the following zip codes in the State of Illinois: Cook County covering: Chicago (60606, 60607, 60608, 60609, 60612, 60615, 60617, 60619, 60620, 60621, 60624, 60627, 60628, 60629, 60636, 60637, 60639, 60644, 60647, 60649, 60650, 60651, 60653). The contractor shall visually inspect assigned properties and provide a detailed list of repairs and their cost necessary to ensure the property is structurally sound, free of roof leaks, and has operable mechanical systems. See Numbered Note 1. The Standard Classification Code (SIC) is 8712. This procurement is being solicited using simplified acquisition procedures, and the value of the contract shall not exceed $100,000. The contract period is for 18 months with no options to extend the contract.
