S -- GROUNDS MAINTENANCE SERVICES SOL DAKF40-97-B-0008 DUE 060197 POC Contract Specialist ANGELA LOCKE (910) 396-4362 X230 (Site Code DAKF40) Provide grounds maintenance services for the Heritage Village Family Housing near Raeford, North Carolina, and for the Family Housing Areas and US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) Facilities at Fort Bragg, North Carolina for the period 1 July 1997 through 30 June 1998 (plus 1 one-year option period). Contract will be a requirements type and will include general grounds maintenance; grass, shrub, tree and ground cover maintenance; erosion control; mulching; soil treatment; clearing and cutting; spraying for weed and poison herbage control; fertilizer and lime application; and inspection, maintainance and repair of playground equipment. Contractor shall be a licensed landscape contractor with the following current professional certifications prior to starting work: one certified nurseryman with a minimum of 2 organizational memberships in a nurseryman association and a North Carolina Plants man certification. Contractor personnel performing pest control services shall have valid NC Pest Control applicators certifications in Ornamental and Turf Maintenance Specialities.
