The Contractor shall provide all services and materials for the following: Removal of 550 meters of underground condensate lines from Building F-6 to F-10 and installation of new condensate lines; removal of 180 meters of underground steam lines to F-8/F-19 and installation of new steam and condensate lines; removal of 60 meters of underground steam and condensate lines from D-8 to D-1 and installation of new steam and condensate lines; removal and replacement of 40 meters of underground steam and condensate lines crossing roads at Bond Street and Avery Street; installation of 500 meters of new underground steam and condensate lines including seven new manholes from F-160 to N-159; and the installation of heat exchanger and associated equipment in Building N-159. This procurement is being conducted under the NASA MidRange Pilot Test Program approved by the Office of Federal Procurement Policy. The order of magnitude for the procurement is from $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00 and the effort shall be completed within 270 calendar days after notice to proceed. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for the procurement is 1711. The corresponding size standard is $7,000,000.00. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about 5-7-97 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about 6-7-97. Bid packages containing specifications and drawings are available at a non-refundable cost of $50.00. Requests are to be forwarded to: NASA/GSFC, Wilma S.
