Smith, 706-731-7174 Provide all labor, material, equipment and supervision necessary to replace/install new switch gear, and building to house the switch gear, and replace existing electrical lines at VA Medical Center, Uptown Division, Augusta, Georgia. Project consists of approximately 45,000 LF of electrical cables, switch gear and building. All cables shall be hy-pot tested when delivered and unloaded and then retested again after installation in conduits. The work will be performed in four phases. Applicable SIC code is 1731. Estimated cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Bidding material consisting of drawings, specifications and contract forms may be obtained by qualified general (prime) contractors interested in submitting bids.
