POLICY REVIEW, DEVELOPMENT The Health Care Financing Administration intends to award a two-year follow-on contract to AdminaStar Federal, Inc., Indianapolis, Indiana, for the continuation of services on behalf of the National Correct Coding Initiative. These services are for continued developent of rebundling methodologies to control overpayment of Part B claims where manipulating of coding leads to inappropriate increased reimbursement. AdminaStar will continue to analyze these claims and present final recommendations for rebundling edits to be installed into the Part B Medicare claims processing system and inclusion in a referenced document that addresses rebundling policy for all codes. The period of performance will be from August 1, 1997 through July 31, 1999 with a total estimated cost of $400,000. Comments concerning this matter may be addressed to Georgette E.
