The Joint Ordnance Commanders Group requested the organization of a seminar to assure linkage among the numerous efforts directed at challenges related to the demilitarization and disposal of energetic amterial. The scope of this effort is to broadband with participation by government, academia and United States and international industry representatives. This symposium will be of particular benefit to individuals involved in demilitarization/ environmental issues associated with energetic materials. The Keynote Address will be given by Brigadier General Joseph W. Arbuckle, Deputy Chief of Staff, US Army Materiel Command and the Welcome will be given by Mr. Dale Kinney, President, Government Systems Group, Day and Zimmermann, Inc. Demilitarization Trends will be presented by Mr. Anthony Melita, Office of Munitions, Office of the Secretary of Defense.
