J -- DRYDOCK REPAIR USCGC CLAMP (WLIC-75306) SOL DTCG80-97-B-3FA833 DUE 052897 POC Contact Mr. Douglas Landau, Contracting Officer (757) 628-4638 Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform drydock repairs including but not limited to the following minimum items: (1) Modify Tender/Barge Interface System, (2) Repair Hole in Watertight Bulkhead in Forward Compartment, (3) Renew Engine Room Deck Plate Support Framing, (4) Modify SSDG Grid Cooler Recesses, (5) Preserve Barge Spud, Spud Well, and Renew Spud Well Liner, (6) Remove, Inspect & Reinstall Propeller Shafts, (7) Inspect and Preserve Stern Tube, (8) Renew Water-Lubricated Shaft Bearing(s), (9) Remove and Reinstall Propeller, (10) Clean and Test Grid Coolers, (11) Preserve the Transducer Hull Rings and Renew the Depth Indicating Transducers, (12) Overhaul, Renew, and Test Valves, (13) Clean, Inspect and Disinfect Potable Water Tank(s), (14) Inspect and Test Air Receivers and Relief Valves, (15) Remove, Inspect and Reinstall Rudder Assemblies, (16) Install Hammer Lead/Crane Spade Hook Assembly and Modify Hammer Lead Cradle, (17) Inspect and Test Deck Fitting and Chain Stopper, (18) Preserve Barge and Tender Voids, (19) Preserve Barge Deck, (20) Preserve Tender Gunwales, (21) Clean and Inspect Diesel Fuel Tanks, (22) Remove, Dispose and Provide New Fuel Oil (2600 Gallons), (23) Clean and Inspect Sewage Collection and Holding Tanks(s), (24) Renew Corrosion Preventative Zinc Anodes, (25) Cover and Protect Weatherford CG300 Hydraulic Aton Crane, (26) Provide Temporary Messing, Berthing, and Logistics, (27) Routine Drydocking, etc. Indefinite items include but are not limited to the following: (1) Welding Repairs, (2) Straighten Propulsion Shaft, (3) Perform Propeller Minor Repair and Reconditioning, (4) Remove, Dispose and Provide New Fuel Oil (500 Gallons), (5) Preserve Underwater Body (Ablative Sys. -- Tender & 68' Barge), (6) Preserve Potable Water Tank(s), (7) Provide Additional Temporary Berthing, Messing, and Logistics, (8) Ultrasonic Testing, etc. Vessel's homeport is Galveston, TX. Place of performance is restricted, to area from Brownsville, TX to Carrabelle, FL via Intra Coastal Waterway, no open water transits. Vessel availability schedule is 7 Jul 97 for 42 days. Vessel is a 75 Foot "D" Class Inland Construction Tender with 68 Foot, 6 1/2 Inch Aton Barge. Tender Breadth (Extreme) is 22 Feet, Barge Breadth (Extreme) is 28 Feet . A charge of $100.00 is required in the form of a certified check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings.
