R -- ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICES SOL N68936-97-R-0177 DUE 060297 POC Mary Jacobs, Contracting Officer, (619) 939-6043 The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWPNS) intends to procure Engineering and Technical Services in support of weapons Test and Evaluation and Research Rockets launch operations at White Sands Missile Range. Contractor support is required in the following general areas: (1) Performance, measurement and verification; (2) Documentation and configuration management; (3) Equipment operation and maintenance; (4) Installation, integration and testing; (5) Equipment design, fabrication, installation and integration; (6) Computer program design, coding, compiling, documenting and testing; (7) Computer Program and Reduction Center operation and maintenance; (8) Telemetry ground station operation and maintenance; (9) Telemetry data collection and verification; (10) Antenna fabrication, characterization and verification; (11) Emitter and Electronic Countermeasure (ECM) support; (12) Target augmentation and instrumentation support; (13) Test planning and operations conduct; (14) Research rocket planning, integration and assembly operations; and (15) Launch operations. No foreign owned, controlled, or influenced companies will be allowed to participate. The one-year with four one-year options contract will be a cost reimbursable, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type contract using best value source selection. The effort is scheduled to begin 1 October 1997. Secret Facility and personnel security clearances will be required. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
