The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate with Plastics Research Corporation for 55 long term storage containers instead of the 41 containers originally planned. Plastics Research Corporation is the original manufacturer of the reusable shipping container and the only firm that can produce the containers in the required timeframe. There are no additional requirements for this container beyond the 55 that are being procured. See Note No. 22, 26. (0104)
