U -- PROVIDE DEVELOPMENT AND INSTRUCTIONAL STRATEGIES POC Ms. Liedel, (703) 696-3843 ext. 4103 The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts to provide staff development and instructional strategies for the continued development and implementation of the DoDEA Humanities Curriculum and instructional program. Services include preparing and delivering training and instruction in the humanities as prescribed in the guidelines set forth in the Institute to DoDEA humanities educators and administrators from June 16 -- July 31, 1997. The contractor will also be required to provide study trips, art demonstrations, in-depth seminars and discussions and working sessions with artists, arts educators, and humanities scholars. The institute will culminate e with the completion of DoDEA humanities interdisciplinary curriculum units and activities. There is no RFP available. See Note 22. (0104)
