402-3085 The National Institutes of Health, Office of Science Policy,
Office of Science Education has a requirement for the development,
production and distribution of science curriculum supplements.
Supplements must comply with the National Science Education Standards.

unrestricted and is being advertised as full & open competition. The
period of performance is two years. The offeror will develop three
science curriculum supplements, based upon the following themes: 1) The
dynamics of emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases; (Target
Group: Seventh grade middle school life science students), 2) Decisions
a cell makes: division, differentiation, and death; (Target Group:
General biology high school students), and 3) The importance of human
genetic variation: (Target Group: General biology high school
students). The offeror is expected to field test the supplements in
schools that represent the intellectual and diversity spectrum found in
secondary schools across the nation. The offeror will be expected to
provide 500 copies of each supplement. All of the supplements will be
in the public domain and will not be copyrighted. Solicitations will be
issued on or about May 1, 1997. Only written request will be honored.

organization, and point of contacts with phone and FAX numbers. Please
include solicitation number on all request. Offerors proposals will be
evaluated on meeting the needs of the requirement., technical approach
corporate experience, staff resources, corporate managemnet and
facilities and past performance. The Government reserves the right to
make an award to the best advantage of the Government, cost and other
