The General Organization for Greater Cairo Water Supply (GOGCWS), in the Arab Republic of Egypt, requests bids from U.S. firms who can qualify through experience in providing the required laboratory equipment. The required laboratory equipment consists of multiple items for use in the GOGCWS water treatment plant laboratories (fluoresence microscope, particle counter, Giardia sampling device, portable chlorine residual analyzer, liquid-liquid extraction kits, hydrogen generators, nitrogen generators, zero air generators, TOC gas generator, regulator kits for various compressed gases, etc.) and are required to be furnished and delivered to CIP Destination Alexandria, Arab Republic of Egypt. Bidder must have representation for supply of spare parts and service in the Arab Republic of Egypt and must bid on all of the items specified. Bidder will be required to furnish suitable bid security with their bid and furnish performance security if awarded a contract. A Fixed Price Host Country Contract with GOGCWS is anticipated. Payment will be made in U.S. Dollars by USAID/Cairo through a direct letter of Commitment under USAID Grant No. 263-1093. Bids must remain valid and open for acceptance for a minimum of 120 days from the date set for bid opening. The Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the U.S. Agency for International Development encourage and welcome in this activity the participation, to the fullest extent possible, of minorities and women both as individuals and as members of contracting or subcontracting firms.
