Barlow, (804) 775-9206, Supervisory Contract Specialist, Ervin Vesely, Jr. Contractors shall provide and deliver subsistence and related items to approximately 51 unit locations throughout the state. Contract type will be a fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, minimum/maximum, contract. Contract period will be on or about 15 Jun 97 through 14 Jun 98 and will include options for four additional 12-month periods. Deliveries will generally be required to each location one time per month on the Wednesday or Thursday before the weekend training event. All subsistence items delivered will meet health/sanitation standards required by USDA and the Virginia Department of Health. Quantities will be specified on monthly delivery orders, but will generally be for two or more meals to feed a Company-sized unit at each location. The solicitation will include menus with detailed materials lists. Estimated solicitation availability date is 1 May 97. To be considered, request for solicitation, whether by facsimile or in writing, shall include the requestor's Federal Tax Identification Number and corporate status as defined by one of the following: (a) corporation providing medical and health care, (b) other corporate entity, (c) sole proprietorship, (d) partnership. Requestors must also state whether they are a small or large business. Standard Industrial Classification code is 5141 and small business size standard is 100 employees.
