NOTICE OF FOODSERVICE EQUIPMENT NATIONAL PURCHASING AGREEMENTS PROGRAM SPECIAL NOTICE SPECIAL NOTICE SUBJECT: Notice of Foodservice Equipment National Purchasing Agreements Program DESCRIPTION: This notice announces DISC-V's intention to enter into long term commercial agreements with suppliers of foodservice equipment (FSE) in an effort to support DoD and other Federally sponsored FSE users worldwide. Commercial agreements will be written for equipment and incidental services not table-top items. DISC's goal is to provide its customers with a wide selection of quality commercial products, an easy ordering system, valid warranties, quick response and a single FSE catalog and price list. The catalog will be in the form of a hard copy print and/or electronic media (e.g. cd-rom and/or internet). It will contain a small sample of the suppliers items established in the agreements. The ideal characteristics of a potential supplier include: 1. Its willingness to sell equipment to the Government in a manner that is equivalent to its most favorable commercial practices. 2. It must provide direct vendor delivery to DISC's customers within a commercially acceptable timeframe. 3. It should be a proven quality supplier of foodservice equipment. 4. It must be willing to use innovative techniques to support DISC's customers. 5. It must be authorized to deal a particular manufactured product line and must provide a manufacturers complete product line.
