The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for sixty-eight (68) stress-relieved high density natural polyethylene sheets for shielding of the flight path for the High Resolution Neutron Time-of-Flight Spectrometer. Dimensions of the sheets shall be fifty (50) sheets at 48" x 96" x 2", and eighteen (18) sheets at 48" x 96" x 4". Some of these sheets will need to be cut, either by the vendor or by NIST. Offerors shall submit separate quotations for (a) the total number of sheets (68); and (b) for cutting charges on those sheets that require cutting. Complete drawings and instructions for cutting shall be provided to offerors. Offerors that do not have cutting facilities, shall provide quotations for only the total number of sheets required.
