Norton, Contracting Officer, 202-225-2921 The U.S. House of Representatives, House Information Resources (HIR), is seeking to establish a qualified bidders list for Audio Conferencing telecommunications services. At a minimum, interested parties must be able to provide the following: A non-premised based service, whereby a single call to a reservation center will initiate a conference call to all participants. House users will be preassigned an authorization code. A conference operator must notify participants in advance regarding the date and time of the call. The operator must notify participants in advance regarding the date and time of the call. The operator must call the participants at the appropriate time to connect them to the call. A conference set-up time of 10 minutes or less on domestic dial-out calls must be guaranteed. The conference operator must be available throughout conference calls to provide further assistance. Monthly billing must be based upon the authorization code, and be available on standard cartidges written at 38,000 bpi. All requests for inclusion on the source list must include Company Name, Contact Person Name, Address, Telephone Number and Fax Number, a detailed service description and pricing. Demonstrated prior experience is a qualifying factor, therefore, certification of prior successful performance in all areas specified above and two current or previous relevant contract references for services must be provided to qualify.
