Services are required for the construction of a Composite Operational Training Facility at Mansfield Air National Guard Base, Mansfield Lahm Airport, Ohio. Services will include constructing a 22,000 square foot headquarters, administrative and operational training facility to support the Airlift Wing Commander, Vice Wing Commander, Support Group Commander and their staffs. The facility will also support the base disaster preparedness training personnel. The facility will house a variety of administrative functions, including individual and open offices, conference rooms, classrooms, rest rooms, and storage space. The facility will be a two-story structural steel column and beam building with block, brick and glass walls, standing seam, metal truss roof system and elavator service. Services will also include construction of a new base entrance, including a 300 square foot guard house, asphalt road and vehicle parking, base perimeter security fence, and demolition of an existing 19,000 square foot administrative facility subsequent to occupancy of new facilities. The mechanical systems will consist of separate variable air volume with perimeter unit heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems with direct digital controls, hot water boiler, natural gas service, domestic water and sewer systems. Electric service includes primary and secondary power to the buildings with full interior and exterior lighting, telecommunications with fire and security systems. Tie-in and extension of existing underground water, natural gas, primary electric and telecommunications utilities for future construction is also included.
