The U.S. Air Force seeks potential sources under OMB Circular A-76 Cost Comparison Studies for the management of Kirtland Air Force Base unaccompanied housing facilities. If, after market research, Government performance is determined to be more advantageous, a solicitation will not be issued. The contractor will provide the management necessary to operate the facilities consisting of 5 dormitories with approximately 835 rooms. Management duties consist of room assignment/termination, joint inventory inspection upon room assignment/termination, and control of required linens, room keys, and US Government Mail Box keys. Management duties also include creation of room folders on all new occupants, maintaining the Dormitory Information Database, conducting newcomer briefings/orientations, and compiling the monthly dormitory occupancy information report. Further duties consist of tracking work orders, conducting inventory accountability inspections of furniture and equipment with the base management office, and responding to emergencies and room lock-outs during non-duty hours. The government is interested in obtaining information concerning commercial statements of work/specifications currently in use by industry to perform similar or related functions. Interested offerors should submit capability statements, including related experience and performance history (with points of contact) within the past five years to PL/PKCC, 2000 Wyoming Blvd. SE, Kirtland AFB, NM 87117. Potential offerors should state if they are a large business, small business, or are 8(a) certified. If a sufficient number of small businesses or 8(a) certified businesses respond, the acquisition may be 100% set-aside for small business or 8(a) certified under SIC 8744, size standard $5 million.
