25 -- VEHICULAR/AUTOMOTIVE PARTS: STEEL STORAGE SHELVES SOL FCAH-C2-970253-B-N DUE 070997 POC Christy Morrison 703-305-3097 and Brenda Sajous 703-308-4665 This solicitation is for the New World Wide Basic issuance of Federal Supply Schedule 25, Part III, Section C Vehicular/Automotive Parts: Steel Storage Shelves for a 5 year Multiple Award Schedule with one 5 year option. The following special item numbers (SIN) are included: 325-101: Storage Shelves for Automotive Parts For exhaust, glass, cable, bulk storage and free standing racks. 325-102: Multiple Use Storage Shelves Flow rack steel storage shelves and/or free standing racks 325-103: Professional Installation of Shelves: In order to receive an award for SIN 325-101 and/or 325-102 the offeror must submit a proposal for SIN 325-103. The proposal for installation should follow normal commercial practice. No offer will be accepted for the shelves without a proposal for installation unless the offeror can clearly justify in writing that there is no need for a professional installer. Significant changes include non-mandatory Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery type contract and Multiple Award Schedule. Also, a Maximum Order (MO) is established based on concessions granted by the contractor. The contractor is not obligated to honor any request from the agency to order outside that MO as stated in FAR clause 52.216-19. The Federal Supply Class is 7125.
