hereby amended as follows: A. On page 12 of the solicitation,
paragraphs 3.1.1 and 3.2.4 of the BACKUP IRON SIGHT SPECIFICATION are
replaced by the following revised paragraphs: 3.1.1 Configuration. The
Backup Iron Sight aperture assembly shall fold to the rear for storage
when not in use. The Backup Iron Sight in both the folded and up
positions shall not interfere with charging the Carbine. The Backup
Iron Sight shall be mounted in the first URG slot from the rear of the
receiver, and it shall not protrude forward more than 0.540 inch from
the back edge of the rear mounting slot. It shall not protrude
rearward more than 2.40 inches from the back edge of the rear mounting
slot. Refer to the maximum height and length dimensions of paragraph
3.2.4. 3.2.4 Length, Width, Height. The Backup Iron Sight shall have a
maximum length of 2.60 inches in the folded position. The length goal
is 2.30 inches in the folded position. The maximum width of the Backup
Iron Sight shall be 2.00 inches. The width goal is 1.80 inches. The
Backup Iron Sight mounted in the folded position in the first URG slot
from the rear of the receiver shall not interfere with the mounting of
the M4A1 ACOG 4X Scope with its rear clamp screw in the fourth slot of
the URG. The following height zones will allow the ACOG to be mounted
as specified: Height shall not exceed 0.610 inch forward from the
front edge of the first UFG slot. Height shall not exceed 0.700 inch
from the front edge of the first URG slot rearward 0.90 inch. Height
shall not exceed 0.825 inch at any point beyond 0.90 inch rearward from
the front edge of the first URG slot. The height goal is 0.45 inches in
the folded position. B. The due date and local time for receipt of
