The intent of the investigation is to test sub-assemblies of the existing fuze which incorporate some re-designed elements. The contractor will incorporate design modifications into components of the existing fuze, fabricate hardware, conduct testing and report the results of the testing to the government. Award of a purchase order on a sole source basis to Action Manufacturing Company, Philadelphia, PA, as the only responsible source is anticipated. See Note 22. (0136)
