The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Det Philadelphia intends to acquire non-personal Contractor Engineering and Technical Services (CETS), by qualified personnel for the purpose of informing, instructing and training Department of the Navy personnel in the installaion, operation and maintenance of the following Navy and Marine Corps weapons, equipment and systems: P3C Logistics Support for Airframs, Avionics, P3C Advance Base Functional Component (ABFC) and Special Support Equipment. The proposed procurement consists of two (2) tasks: 31986 and 31979. The basic contract period for this task is 01 January 1998 through 30 September 1998. These tasks will also include two one year option periods, and one option period from 01 October 00 through 31 December 00. The period of performance, inclusive of options will total thirty six (36) man months. This contract covers the Government's minimum needs. The solication will contain specifications for Contractor Engineering and Technical Services as appropriate. The place of performance for task 31986 Naval Air Station, New Orleans, LA. The place of performance for task 31979 will be NAVAIRES Santa Clara, CA. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification Number is 8711.
