No. 7-97-R23 DUE 062497 POC Contact Point, Cecilia Rogers, 541/416-6534 This project consists of placing logs in various streams on districts of the Ochoco National Forest using a "walking backhoe," with four independently hydraulic powered adjustable legs, with opposable thumb on bucket and cable winch. Estimated hours for project work includes a minimum of 50 hrs minimum and a maximum of 266 hours for the 1997 season, start work date approximately July 28, 1997, and a minimum of 120 hours and a maximum of 175 hours for the 1998 season with a start work date of July 1, 1998, for the Big Summit Ranger District. Estimated hours for the 1997 season for the Prineville Ranger District is a minimum of 50 hours and a maximum of 105 hours with a start work date of June 23, 1997. For the 1998 season, a minimum of 120 hours and a maximum of 175 hours with a start work date of July 1, 1998. (0140)
