furnish all labor, equipment and supplies necessary to perform
custodial services at Fort Rucker, Alabama for the period 1 Oct 97
through 30 Sep 98, with two option years (1 Oct 98 thru 30 Sep 99 and
1 Oct 99 thru 30 Sep 2000). Anticipated issue date on/about 17 Jun 97
with bid opening on/about 17 Jul 97. The proposed acquisition listed is
a 100 percent (100%) Small Business Set-aside for Small Business
concerns whose average annual receipts of the concern and its
affiliates for its preceding three years must not exceed $12,000,000.
Each bidder shall submit with his bid, a Bid Bond/Bid Guarantee
(Standard Form 24) with good and sufficient surety or sureties
acceptable to the Government, or other security in the form of twenty
percent (20%) of the bid price or $3,000,000, whichever is lesser. The
bid bond penalty may be expressed in dollars and cents. Additionally,
each bidder shall submit within 10 days after the prescribed forms are
presented to the offeror to whom the award is made for signature, a
written contract on the form prescribed by Solicitation
DABT01-97-B-0017, shall be executed and two bonds, each with good and
sufficient surety or sureties acceptable to the Contracting Officer,
namely a Performance Bond (Standard Form 1418) and a Payment Bond
(Standard Form 1416). The penal sum of such bonds shall be one hundred
percent (100%) for the Performance Bond and fifty percent (50%) of the
contract price for the Payment Bond. Performance and Payment bonds
shall be furnished by the contractor to the Contracting Officer, prior
to commencement of contract performance. Custodial Services consists
of basic services for building receiving services 2 days or 2 nights
per week for twelve (12) months; basic custodial services for buildings
receiving service 3 nights per week for twelve (12) months; basic
custodial services for Building 114, 3 nights per week for twelve (12)
months; basic custodial services 5 days per week for Building 6000,
Fort Rucker's Museum for twelve (12) months; basic custodial services
for Building 4605, Physical Fitness Center, receiving service 5 days
and 7 nights per week for twelve (12) months; stripping and rewaxing
floors, based on an estimated Square Footage (SF); carpet cleaning by
the SF; low pressure washing and high pressure washing of buildings
exterior consisting of brick masonry products, sidewalks, porches,
steps and other components made from a masonry base by the SF. Request
