ITEM 0001, Cartridge, 12 Gauge, Bean Bag, Non-Lethal in accordance with Crane's Hybrid Specification (HS), HS/4083/C97/1127 -- Qty 50,000 each with a maximum optional quantity of 450,000. ITEM 0002, Cartridge, 12 Gauge, Launching for Grenade, Non-Lethal in accordance with HS/4083/C97/1136 -- Qty 5,087 each with a maximum optional quantity of 450,000. ITEM 0003, Cartridge, 12 Gauge, Rubber Bullet, Fin Stabilized, Non-Lethal in accordance with HS/4083/C97/1135 -- Qty 11,925 each with a maximum optional quantity of 450,000. The options will be exercised over a 5 year period. All 3 items are designed for use in a 12 gauge 2-3/4 inch shotgun. Delivery will be F.O.B. destination within 60 days after contract award. Delivery of options will be F.O.B. Destination within 60 days after option is exercised. Award will be made to the offeror who proposes the best value to the Government as determined by the source selection criteria. Anticipated issue date is 16JUN 97 with an anticipated closing date of 09JUL97. This acquisition will be processed utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is an unrestricted solicitation.
