The Federal Aviation Administration, Western-Pacific Region, has a PROJECTED requirement to construct a 95,000 gross square foot facility (Northern California TRACON) on 28 acres located on Mather Air Field (formerly Mather Air Force Base) located outside the city of Sacramento, California, in Sacramento County. This project shall be completed in two (2) phases and shall consists of but not limited to: utilities site work, construction of operations area, electronic equipment wing, and environmental wing, installation of chillers, site prep for power system, install interior finishes, electrical, life safety systems, plumbing and HVAC, construction of administration area, mechanical penthouse, lobby and cafeteria, finish site work and landscaping, security fencing and roadways, build guardhouse, antenna farm construction and connect to building, EMCS integration, installation of consoles in operations area, temporary HVAC equipment and power installation. TheStandard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 1542. The estimated dollar range for this procurement is between $17,500,000.00 to $20,000,000.00. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the project specifications and drawings. We are seeking to add 20 additional sources to our existing prospective bidders list for this project. The following notice BELOW is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to 1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Programs (STLP), at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximun line of credit is $500,000.
