This requirement is for Wireline Interface Adapters, High Speed and regular speed that are directly compatible with the Allied Signal, Inc., KIV-7 and KIV-7HS (referred to as KIV-7 (or HS) throughout the remainder of this document) COMSEC module. The adapters provide the user a capability to use field wire to connect communications circuits in a tactical environment. The adapter assemblies must fit in the same rack assembly as the KIV-7(or HS) and must use the same 5 volt DC power that is available to the KIV-7(or HS). This is two line items that are to be delivered 30 days ARO, although earlier delivery is requested.
